After School Program

Hello families and friends,

Welcome to the page of Glendale's afterschool program, also known as "Glendale after the Bell."  Our program provides quality programming to students of various needs.  We offer homework help in a group setting where students have the opportunity to work together, or work with their group leader for help.  Many of our students also participate in other afterschool groups such as Youth Teaching Youth (YTY), MESA, 8th gr. Science Club, Teen Outreach Program, Choose Gang Free Spirit Team, Girls On Track (spring), Latinos in Action, and the Pacific Islander Student Association (PISA).  Our cultural clubs create many dances to share with the community during our Multicultural Celebration Nights.  Please be sure to come out and support Glendale Middle School students during this fantastic event!  We also provide co-ed sport teams.  Students can access the tryout packets for Volleyball (fall), Basketball (winter), and Soccer (spring) online, in the main office, or in Erica's office room 1093.  Students MUST take their completed applications to tryouts, and attend BOTH days of tryouts.  In all of our programs, we strive to provide a safe learning environment welcome to all, and hold students to high standards while guiding them toward success.  If you are interested in more information, and or to enroll your child into the Afterschool program, please access the registration information sheet or contact us.  Be sure to check our monthly calendars to see what we are up to!
